Coming to Sellerio · Planned

Margin you can trust, not just revenue.

Per-SKU profit is already live. We're extending it into full margin configuration — set costs once at the level that makes sense, per item, per account, per marketplace, or as a global default — and every order reports what you actually kept.

Illustrative preview of a planned feature — not yet live
TL;DR
  • Margins configurable at four levels — per item, per account, per marketplace, and a global default.
  • Per-order profit computed against the same reconciled numbers, not a sticker-price guess.
  • Profit shown wherever a decision actually happens — dashboard, reports, and each order's own page.
Why we're building this

Revenue climbs. Margin quietly doesn't.

Marketplace selling has a treadmill problem: sales go up, the graph looks great, and the bank balance doesn't move — because commission, logistics, returns, and the occasional penalty take a bigger bite than the sticker price shows. Averaged-out accounting can't tell you which SKU is the actual leak.

Four configurable levels

Set a global default in minutes, then override per marketplace, per account, or per item where precision actually pays.

Planned

Honest cost subtraction

Your margin data plus the marketplace's actual settled deductions for that order — not the number on the label.

Planned

Channel comparison

The same product's Amazon margin against its Meesho margin, side by side, with proof behind both numbers.

FAQ

What we can tell you today

Honest answers about a feature that's planned, not shipped.

Isn't per-SKU profit already live on Sellerio?
Yes — per-SKU profitability and PPC Profit & Loss are live today. This planned upgrade is about configuring margins at multiple levels (item, account, marketplace, global) instead of one flat setting, which matters most once you're running several brands.
How accurate would per-order profit actually be?
As accurate as two inputs: your cost data and the reconciled settlement. The settlement side is exact, since it's the marketplace's own data. Your cost side is as precise as the margins you set — which is why per-item overrides are part of the plan for the SKUs that matter most.
How would returns affect a profit figure?
The intent is for returns to reduce reported profit for the affected order automatically, rather than sitting as a separate number you have to net out yourself.
Can I keep margin numbers private from staff?
That's the plan — role-based visibility so operational staff can work the queue without seeing brand-level margin figures.
