Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and failed-payment situations are handled for Sellerio subscriptions. It applies to Starter, Growth, and Scale plans billed monthly or annually via Razorpay.
General no-refund policy
Because Sellerio provides immediate access to software, live account syncing, and API usage from the moment a billing period starts, subscription charges are non-refundable once that period has begun — whether you paid monthly or annually, and regardless of how much of the platform you actually used during that period. This is standard practice for SaaS subscriptions and mirrors how the underlying marketplace and payment APIs we depend on are billed to us.
When we do issue a refund
We will issue a full or partial refund in the following specific situations:
- Duplicate charge. If Razorpay charged you twice for the same billing period due to a technical error.
- Charged after cancellation. If you cancelled auto-renewal before the renewal date but were still charged due to a processing error on our end.
- Extended platform outage. If Sellerio is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to an issue on our side (not a marketplace API outage or scheduled maintenance you were notified of), we'll credit the affected days toward your next billing period, or refund a prorated amount if you choose not to continue.
- Incorrect plan charge. If you were charged for a different plan or amount than what you selected, due to a system error.
To request a refund under any of the above, email contact@mysellerio.com within 15 days of the charge with your organization name and the billing date in question. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
How to cancel
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Sellerio billing settings, or by emailing contact@mysellerio.com. Cancelling:
- Stops the next scheduled charge — no further payments will be collected.
- Does not refund the current period — your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Does not delete your data — see the Privacy Policy's retention terms for what happens after your access period ends.
Downgrades & partial periods
Downgrading to a lower-priced plan takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle — we don't refund the difference for the current period, since you retained full access to your original plan's features until then. Upgrading mid-cycle is prorated and charged immediately, as described in the Terms & Conditions.
Failed payments
A failed renewal payment is not a cancellation. If your payment method fails, Sellerio follows the grace-period and suspension schedule described in the Terms & Conditions — your subscription is not refunded, and access continues (in a limited, then suspended form) until either payment succeeds or the account is suspended for non-payment.
How an approved refund is processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay. UPI and card refunds typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank. We'll email you a confirmation once the refund has been initiated on our side.
